Edition #30- LinkedIn’s New AI Helpers, Tested in Real Searches.

Talent Tip

Start with AI-Assisted Search to translate your screening notes into a first cut of candidates, then layer two or three precise filters that matter for the hire, such as industry, seniority and location. Use AI-Assisted Messages to draft outreach, but build a short tone kit first, for example two sentence value proposition, one proof point, one soft call to action. Personalise the first line, keep the ask small, and track reply quality not just volume. Close the loop by saving successful prompts in a shared doc so the whole team benefits.

AI Spotlight

LinkedIn’s Hiring Assistant and AI features now cover intake to interview, including drafting job posts, finding candidates and composing outreach. LinkedIn reports that AI-Assisted Messages see a 44 percent higher acceptance rate and replies arrive over 11 percent faster than non AI messages, while searches started with AI show an 18 percent uplift in InMail acceptance versus manual filter sessions. These tools are rolling out across Recruiter and Jobs, with the agent style Hiring Assistant expanding from charter customers into general availability. Use them to do the heavy lifting, then apply human judgement on fit and narrative before you hit send. LinkedIn Business Solutions+2LinkedIn Business Solutions+2LinkedIn News

Personal Insight

We get the best results when we treat LinkedIn’s AI as a draft partner rather than an autopilot. Detailed qualification notes leads to stronger AI suggestions, and a short human edit to the first message often doubles the quality of replies.
