Edition #43 – Meet “Aria” Our New Agentic AI

We have started using a new agentic AI assistant inside AiR called Aria, she is not a chatbot, she is more like a junior teammate who never gets tired and actually enjoys the repetitive work. Aria is already automating parts of our process behind the scenes, and the impact is interesting both for us and for the talent we support.
Talent Tip
What Aria is currently automating
- Pulling candidate data into the right format
- Drafting first pass outreach messages
- Summarising intake calls
- Keeping track of where people are in the process
None of these tasks are new, they are the things that used to quietly eat hours in the background.
If you are in a tech or data role, start thinking in terms of:
- What you can delegate to AI
- How you check and improve the output
- Where you can turn a manual loop into a simple workflow
AI Spotlight
Most people know AI tools that wait for you to ask something, then respond. Agentic AI is a bit different. It can;
- Follow multi step workflows
- Call tools and APIs in the background
- Remember context through a process
- Act on triggers rather than only on prompts
How does this look for us at AiR;
- When a new role is created, Aria prepares a structured list of target companies and profiles.
- When a candidate is added, Aria drafts a summary and pulls out key skills and red flags.
- After a client call, Aria produces a first version of a scorecard or shortlist criteria.
We still review, edit and decide, the judgement is human, our time is now moving away from admin and towards thinking.
Personal Insight
Using Aria has made one thing very clear, the real benefit of AI is not speed, it is having more time to focus on Sales and Relationships.
If this is what one agent can do at an early stage, it is obvious that the teams who learn to work with AI assistants early will move faster and make better hiring decisions than those who do not.
